CONSULTATION:
As each case is unique, a one on one consultation is the ideal way to determine patient's needs and satisfy them optimally. After a thorough dental check-up we guide the patient with procedure details, prognosis, time required and cost structure. Thereby allowing you to make informed choices about your oral health.

ORAL PROPHYLAXIS:
Regular 6 monthly check-up and cleaning is a must for healthy gums and a well integrated oral cavity. The procedure is non abrasive without any harm to the enamel as removal of plaque, stains, and tartar is done superficially with ultrasonic instruments.

FLUORIDE TREATMENT:
External application of fluoride gels help prevent and fight tooth decay by restoring minerals to the teeth and hardening the enamel. It is done more commonly in children starting at the age of 6 years.

RESTORATIONS:
Cavities or old discoloured restorations are replaced by tooth coloured composite materials. Great care is taken to maintain the natural shape and characteristics of the original tooth thereby making them indistinguishable from adjoining tooth structure.

ROOT CANAL THERAPY:
This treatment is carried out in cases where the tooth decay or fracture is very deep and involving the pulp. The pulp if the soft centre of the tooth having nerve endings responsible for causing pain and other sensation. In simple terms it means the removal of the infected or damaged pulp tissue within the tooth and replacement by artificial biocompatible inert filling material. The procedure is carried out under the influence of a local anesthetic and is painless. Root treated teeth have a tendency to become brittle with time therefore must be protected with a crown.

CROWNS AND BRIDGES:

Crowns are dental restorations which completely cap or encircle a tooth to improve the strength or appearance of the tooth. A Bridge is a dental restoration used to replace a missing tooth or teeth by permanently joining (by means of crowns) to the teeth adjacent to the toothless area.

Teeth need to be restored with a crown for the following reasons:

- Over implants
- Following root canal therapy
- For fabrication of bridges
- Aesthetics

The tooth in question is prepared carefully to create space for the crown, followed by a precise impression so the crown can be fabricated in the laboratory, outside the mouth. The finished and polished crown is then bonded to the tooth with the help of dental cement.

DENTURES:
These are removable appliances made of acrylic used to replace one, more or all missing teeth. After precise measurements and careful planning dentures are fabricated so as to restore aesthetics, muscle support, speech and function optimally.
